Affable big-town bank teller Guy (Ryan Reynolds) was content with life and job-the daily violent holdups notwithstanding. However, his fateful encounter with one foxy felon (Jodie Comer) brought him the realization that he was actually a background character in an open-world video game-and while his newfound autonomy makes him a hit with players, it also draws the wrath of the program's developer (Taika Waititi).
