This design is reworked from a sidewall pattern housed in the Smithsonian, likely from the Arts and Crafts era. I love the rounded floral shapes and I made it in many shades of blue so it pairs with just about everything: navy, grey, camel, denim. I named it Taranto, after the seaside city in southern Italy. It felt right-historic, a little off the beaten path, and full of beauty.
